Having a beautiful, inviting kitchen is something that everybody can appreciate. And it is certainly something that any and every potential home buyer has at the forefront of their mind when looking at a prospective home. Of course, this goes doubly for homeowners looking to remodel their kitchen.
But what goes into having a beautiful and inviting kitchen, really? Is it your countertops and cabinets? Maybe it’s the kitchen fixtures and the flooring. Or maybe it’s your appliances.
If you said any of one of the four things, then you are 25% percent correct. If you said each of these then…. Well, you’re just correct.
But let’s focus on your kitchen appliances and which are best. There are literally hundreds of options, from small-named generic brands like “White Westing House” to everyday household brands like General Electric and Samsung.

These brands have been consistently displayed as the best appliance brands available.
Each brand has its pluses and minuses, and they all have their own claims to fame. For instance, Samsung and LG have brought an entirely new aspect to refrigerators when they touch screens on their doors.
You’ve also got companies like Viking, who is well renowned for manufacturing top-notch professional-grade ranges.
With so many incredible brands, it can be difficult to determine which is best. So which company takes the cake?
Today We’ll dive into each brand, figuring out what are their strengths and weaknesses.
How We Judge The Brands: Top 10 Kitchen Appliance Brands in the World
What we are going to do is simple. First, we’ll look at the best-rated kitchen appliance brands. Next, we will go through each kitchen appliance and determine which brand we like best for that appliance. By the end of it all, we hope to have a definitive answer to the best brand for kitchen appliances.
Of course, we are aware that things seldom turn out the way we expect in these processes. So we’ve put together a system to help us look at each brand as a whole (objectively, of course) and break any ties. More about that later.
Best Refrigerator Brands – Best Kitchen Appliance Brand
We’ll start with the most used appliance in our kitchens, the fridge. For these appliances, we wanted a few things.
First, it’s got to get cold – duh! Second, this is a machine that literally runs day and night, so it needs to be energy efficient, and it needs to be able to run reliably. There is no worse feeling than stocking your fridge with steaks, salmon, and any other ungodly expensive meat only for your fridge to go out and leave you with rotting sacks of flesh.
Is fish flesh?
Anyway, let’s take a look at some of the most reliable refrigerator brands.

Samsung RF23J901SG
The four-door design is freaking perfect, with a shape-shifting compartment (pardon the hyperbole) that goes from freezer to fridge. This is amazing, to say the least. By the way, each compartment can be set to its own specific temperature.
It holds its temperature amazingly well, and the ability to adjust each compartment accordingly sets this over the top for sure.
Its clear downfall is the price. You can expect to shell into triple digits to get this fridge.
Kenmore 73025
This Kenmore model is significantly less expensive, and in some cities, your purchase includes delivery service and hookup.
The refrigerator is a 26.1 cu. Ft. counter depth french door fridge, with a beautiful stainless steel finish (fingerprint resistant) that looks amazing in any kitchen.
Similar to Samsung, it has the ability to keep temperatures in the freezer at separate temperatures, provided they are in their proper cooling zones. Oh, the frost-free freezer is a huge plus, too, keeping your frozen foods from getting freezer burn. Thus, staying fresh longer.
Haier 16 Cu. Ft. 4 Door Fridge
Fairly close to the Samsung fridge, this one from Haier is smaller and less expensive, but it certainly isn’t a machine to scoff at. It is as reliable as any other fridge out there, and the variable temperature control puts the power of customization in your hands completely.
But unlike Samsung, you don’t have the option to change one of the freezer compartments to a fridge.
Winner
The winner here is the Kenmore, but it wasn’t an easy call by any stretch. If we were basing our decision solely on which refrigerator we like best, the answer would be the Samsung four-door. The ability to change each compartment to its own customized temperature, plus the option to change a freezer compartment to a fridge, is genius.
But, when it comes to the best bang for your buck, the Kenmore 73025 is your best bet.

Best Stovetop Oven Range Brands – Best Kitchen Brand Appliances
Check Out: Over the Range Convection Microwaves
Probably the second most used kitchen appliance is the oven range. Again, you’ve got the option to choose between gas and electricity, and it totally depends on the connections you have in your kitchen. So make sure you figure out what types of connections your home has before you decide to purchase an oven range.
When you are looking for an oven, your primary concern should be how hot it can get and how well you can manage its temperatures. There are some other things to consider, like ovens with a self-cleaning option. Stovetops with induction technology and so much more. Here are some of our favorites.
Thor Kitchen HRG3080U Professional Gas Range
Gas range ovens are the creme-de-la-creme in my estimation. The flames cook your food more evenly and quicker, plus it can get a lot hotter than an electric range. You’ve also got the bonus of cheaper operating costs over time.
The Thor HRG is powered with a 22,000 BTU convection oven and four stovetop burners with; 18,000 btu, 15,000 btu, and twin 12000 BTU. Of course, the stainless steel surface of this oven offers as much beauty as the range offers power.
Kenmore 94173 Electric Range
This Kenmore product is both cost-effective and effective at cooking your favorite dishes. It also has a built-in self-cleaning option (never use this option while you’re away from home). I really enjoy the ceramic glass cooktops; they look amazing and keep your kitchen looking chic and modern.
But my favorite aspect of the oven is its “warm and hold” oven function; this allows you to keep your food in the oven until mealtime while keeping every fresh until you are ready to eat.
GE PS950SFSS
This is a handy freestanding electric range with four-burner coils, a ceramic glass cooktop, and two – COUNT THAT….. 2 – oven compartments.
The stainless steel surface is beautiful, and the combination of it and the ceramic give your kitchen an aura of awesomeness. If you are a fan of the double oven models, this is easily the oven range for you.
Winner – Most Reliable Kitchen Appliances
The winner here is the Thor Kitchen HRG3080U 30-inch freestanding oven. If you cook a lot, then this is definitely the oven you want. It is the most powerful and, in my humble opinion, the most attractive. Furthermore, Thor Kitchen offers great warranties on their products. But make sure you have a professional come out and set it up for you.
That said if you aren’t looking to spend more than a few hundred dollars, or if you have space constraints in your kitchen, the Kenmore electric range is also a great product.
Wrap-Up – Top Rated Kitchen Appliances
It doesn’t matter if you are a professional chef, home chef, or just somebody who wants to have a beautiful kitchen that makes you excited to get in there and cook for family and friends. We all want to have the perfect kitchen. Well at least everyone reading this post is.
In order to do that you are going to have to make sure you get the top appliance brands that not only work like they are supposed to, but ones that are also going to last for several years down the road. This is a long-term investment we’re making here.
Regarding which is the best kitchen appliances brand, well that is still a very difficult decision to make, especially because each brand has different strengths than others. While Thor excels at making ovens and ranges, Kenmore excels in the refrigerator category.
But best all around, I’m going to have to give the nod to Samsung here. They have a proven track record of being one of the most reliable kitchen appliance brands.
Samsung is a company well known for being the single greatest competitor to Apple Inc. Their connected devices are one of their greatest profit makers. But what few people know is that Samsung actually started out as a corner store in South Korea, not much different than Walmart here.
This is a company that makes incredible appliances, from washer and dryer sets to Refrigerators, purchasing a Samsung means you are getting a quality product that lasts ages. Well, you know… minus that whole Note 7 fiasco.
